What’s your Cancellation Policy?
It depends on the rate you book. Flexible rates can usually be cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival. Non-refundable rates, as the name suggests, can’t be cancelled or amended. Check your booking confirmation for details.
Is Hyll dog-friendly?
Yes, we’ve got four dog-friendly rooms waiting for you. Just give us a shout ahead of your stay to confirm, and we’ll make sure your furry friend is all set.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out is by 11:00. Need an early check-in or late check-out? Let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to sort it (subject to availability).
How many rooms are there at Hyll?
We’ve got 26 rooms in total. Each one’s got its own vibe, so you can find the one that feels just right for you.
How can I provide feedback about my stay?

Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel – whether you’re streaming, scrolling, or sending a quick email.
Do you have accessible facilities?
We’ve done everything we can to make our manor house as accessible as possible, but given its age, there are some limitations. There’s no elevator, so access to all bedrooms is via stairs. If you have specific needs, let us know – we’ll do our best to help.
Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes, parking is free for guests. Just a heads-up: spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a spa or gym at Hyll?
No, but you can book a treatment to enjoy in your room.

Can I get a cot or extra bed in my room?
Yes, we can provide cots or extra beds for children – just ask. (Limited availability, so best to check in advance.)
What dining options do you offer?
We’ve got a restaurant and bar, serving fresh, locally sourced food. You’ll find menus and opening hours on our eat and drink page.
Is breakfast included?
Depends on the rate you book. Check your confirmation or give us a shout if you’re not sure.
Do you offer room service?
We offer in-room picnics unpacked like a little moment of quiet. To order speak to one of the Hyll team.
Is parking available for event guests?
Yes, parking is available for meeting and event attendees.
Do you offer corporate packages?
We do. Our packages include meeting room hire, catering, and extras. Give our events team a call on 01386 593555 for details.
Is there a swimming pool at Hyll?
There isn't - and we get why this one comes up. We are in the process of transforming the space to make way for Bower, the newest part of Hyll. So while you may still spot older photos online, there isn’t a swimming pool on site today.
What’s being built on site and when is work taking place?
Building work is currently underway on site. Works take place Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no work at weekends. You may notice some activity during the day, but we’re keeping disruption to a minimum.
